Denise Machin(she/her) received her B.A. in Dance from Columbia University, and her Ph.D. in Critical Dance Studies from UC Riverside. Machin is the longest serving director for the Claremont Colleges Ballroom Dance Company and regularly competes in amateur dancesport competitions. Machin is also the President of the Collegiate Dancesport Association and a board member of the North American Same-Sex Partner Dance Association.
