Description
Have you ever had a brilliant idea and wanted to start your own business? This session is for you! The most innovative ideas in the world often come from a spark of genius that is seemingly impossible to replicate. The ability to instantly form connections between otherwise disparate things is a skillset that allows truly innovative people to see things others do not. The good news? This mindset can be practiced and nurtured. In this fast-paced workshop session, Professor Matthew Manos will challenge you to unlock the innovator's mindset in order to generate new and disruptive ideas. Professor Manos will be joined by Jessica Vernon, Associate Dean for Admission and Student Affairs, who will introduce students to the USC Iovine and Young Academy’s world-unique Bachelor of Science in Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation which focuses on the intersection of design, technology, entrepreneurship, and communication.
