Dr. Rakhi Dayal is a Clinical Professor at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), and is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. She graduated from Maulana Azad Medical College in India and completed her anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship at the John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. Dr. Dayal serves as the Pain Medicine Fellowship Program Director at UCI and chairs the Pain Committee at the California Society of Anesthesiologists. Additionally, she leads the department's Perioperative Conservation and Sustainability Committee, as well as the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Mentorship Committee.
